Reddit – Dive into anything

I have been doing this job for years. I make around $1,000 a month by designing t-shirts. My purpose is not to act arrogant, but to share with you. You can also do this in this anywhere.

Come on, let me tell you how I make money while sleeping soundly in this economic whirlwind, and how you can do it too.

Note: I first put in a lot of effort, then I started to eat the bread. Read it accordingly. I also brought proof for those who think I made it up.

Note 2: I am not making any advertising or anything like that. I just wanted to share with good intentions. I haven’t shared any referral links or anything like that. I have no benefit from this topic.

TLDR: I’ve been earning money regularly for 8 years by selling my t-shirt designs. And I’m only doing it by designing and uploading. I’ve expanded my business and opened multiple t-shirt accounts, and each one brings in 200-300 dollars per month. I do this on sites like Redbubble and Teepublic, but there are many other sites that do the same. Right now, I’ve started a YouTube channel where I talk about these topics, but I feel like if I link to it here, I’ll get thousands of dislikes and be accused of being a scammer. That’s why I’m only writing this text. Now I’m generating t-shirt designs by artificial intelligence. I’m increasing my profit day by day.

8 years ago, in 2015, when I was just starting university, I became interested in passive income opportunities. At the time, I invested money into sites like Bannersbroker and waited for the money to grow, but of course it didn’t. I also tried methods like Clicksense affiliate, watching ads to earn money, and taking surveys to earn a few dollars a month. I thought to myself, ‘I’ll start with these methods.

Then one day, I came across a company called I-skin in Turkey (I’m from Turkey) that produced printed phone cases. I thought to myself, ‘This is what I want to do.’ At the time, League of Legends was very popular. So I created hundreds of mockups and put them up for sale on Sahibinden (ebay-like website) as phone cases. People could preview the designs, and when an order came in, I would go to Istanbul’s Zeytinburnu district and print the League of Legends designs on empty phone cases and ship them. I remember one time, I even delivered the package myself and made only 1 Turkish Lira profit.

I realized that this wasn’t going to work, so I started researching other options. That’s when I came across print-on-demand sites like Tisho in Turkey, and Spreadshirt, Teespring, Teepublic, and Redbubble internationally. These sites have an advantage in that you upload your designs and don’t have to worry about anything else. They handle the printing, shipping, payment, and returns. How does the system work?

Let’s say you uploaded a design. These sites then create a ton of previews of where that design is located. For example, at the time I uploaded a design that included a character from the game League of Legends called Yasuo. These sites created previews of things like Yasuo t-shirts, phone cases, bath mats, etc. That’s fine so far.

  • Then, someone searching for “Yasuo t-shirt” on the internet found your designed t-shirt and let’s say they bought it for 25 dollars. These sites handle the printing, payment, shipping, and delivery to the customer. They also give you commission as the designer of the product.

  • This commission can be as low as 1 dollar or as high as 10 dollars. Usually, you decide, but if you set the commission rate too high, the products won’t sell much because their prices will be inflated.

I uploaded 5-10 designs to these sites and nothing happened. I thought this was a waste of time, but then 3-4 months later, I got an email. If it’s still there, I’ll post a screenshot here.

I found it. These are my first sales: https://seyler.ekstat.com/img/max/800/X/XyygR1KwGpyT0VoX-637962587298315266.jpg

This is also my first earnings. A design of mine featuring the League of Legends character Thresh as a laptop skin was sold for $5.62. https://seyler.ekstat.com/img/max/800/o/oUceGcI3SyTrGxxM-637962587694732126.jpg

I thought to myself, I finally found something I can do. I was just about to head back to my hometown (a small town in Denizli) and I spent two weeks locked in, learning Photoshop and Illustrator, making dozens of designs. I first made a sale on Redbubble and I fell in love with it. In two weeks, I uploaded around 150-160 designs and returned home. I don’t know if you’ll believe me, but the designs started selling like crazy.

Since most sales were from America, I started receiving $5-15 every night while I slept. When I woke up in the morning, I would wake up with money earned. It may be the best feeling I’ve ever had in my life. I’ll attach my earnings from the first month here: https://seyler.ekstat.com/img/max/800/a/aRVxCla2tTfK58FJ-637962588396673354.jpg

As a student, earning this kind of money and being able to do it while I slept was a big step for me. I continued uploading designs and opened 3-4 more accounts, separating the categories of designs I focused on. I’ve been earning regular money for 8 years now.

I have now turned to other things because I don’t have to do anything. My designs are already being sold. I don’t really need to add new designs. Since I believe that I am more experienced than many people in this matter, I opened a YouTube channel and I am dealing with it. I am explaining how to start this business, how to connect Paypal to receive payments, etc. I also continue to upload designs occasionally. I don’t want to post the link to my channel here because I feel like I would get thousands of dislikes and accusations of fraud if I did. So I am ending this post here.
