A miniature book of poetry written by Charlotte Brontë when she was thirteen years old will be placed in a museum in her childhood home. In this article Writer’s Relief found on Forbes.com, the tiny, handwritten poetry booklet was purchased for $1.25 million dollars at the New York Antiquarian Book Fair and then donated to the museum. Smaller than a playing card, the poetry book hadn’t been seen in public in more than a century! One of three literary sisters, Charlotte Brontë is best known as the author of the novel Jane Eyre.
